Welcome to our visitors and may the Peace of Christ be with you!

The Old Catholic Communion in North America is not a church in and of itself. Instead the Old Catholic Communion in North America is structured in the model of the Early Church when each bishop was equal, and each diocese and/or entire jurisdiction was autonomous/autocephalous  regarding ordinations, rites, etc. And yet as in the Early Church though each diocese or jurisdiction was autocephalous many of those that shared a common set of beliefs and theology would accept each other as having valid theology and sacraments and in doing so would be in communion and as such were universal or “catholic” in spite of diffusion

It is the desire of the Old Catholic Communion in North America to provide a means for clergy and the faithful to return to the structure of the Early Church as disciples with a shared core set of beliefs. These beliefs to which we refer are are stated in the Declaration of Utrecht and the Fourteen These of the Old Catholic Union Conference at Bonn. It is by acceptance by both proclamation and practice of the beliefs and principles found un these documents that one my seek recognition in the Old Catholic Communion of North America.

I closing, while our site is open to promote unity among all in the catholic faith to  it is the the vision of the Old Catholic Communion in North America to become a means  for Old Catholic Churches in North America to come together in a form of expressed unity that will result greater recognition of our faith.  We ask that you prayerfully consider our vision and contact us additional information.
